How to Book Accommodation
Please indicate your preference at the time of registration and provide credit card details. These details will be passed onto the accommodation property to guarantee your booking but WILL NOT be charged. FULL payment will then be required by the property on check out.
If you would like to pre-pay your accommodation please contact the registration manager for a credit card authority form.
Delegates are responsible for settling their final account with the property on check out. It is standard practice with Australian hotels to ask for a credit card imprint to cover any incidental expenses incurred during your stay. The final amount is then charged to your card on check out. However if you do not have a credit card, the hotel will request a cash payment generally between $100.00 – $200.00 (depending on the property). If you do not spend the full amount, it is refunded to you on departure.
Accommodation rates are for room only and do not include breakfast unless otherwise stated. Availability is limited and accommodation will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of completed registration form and payment details.
Terminology
“Double” refers to a room with one double or queen bed.
“Twin” refers to a room with two beds.
“Single” refers to a single occupancy room.
Early arrival or late departure
Check in time for conference properties is from 2.00pm. Please advise WALDRONSMITH Management in writing if you will be arriving before this time as you may be required to book the previous night to guarantee immediate access to your room. Please also advise WALDRONSMITH Management in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 6.00pm to avoid your room being released.
Change of booking
Any change to a reservation, including cancellations, must be made in writing to WALDRONSMITH Management and not directly to the property.
Cancellation policy on accommodation
Hilton Melbourne South Wharf: a one night cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received within 30 days of arrival.
Holiday Inn on Flinders: a one night cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received within 30 days of arrival.
Medina Executive Northbank: 100% cancellation fee for all nights booked will be charged for cancellations received within 14 days of arrival.
Quality Hotel Batman’s Hill on Collins: one night cancellation within 30 days arrival.
Hotel Enterprize: a one night cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received within 30 days of arrival.
