The call for abstracts for both the 19th Australian Institute of Physics Congress and the 35th Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology has now closed.
The ‘Presenting Author’ of abstracts accepted for presentation at the AIP/ACOFT 2010 Congress will be notified by Friday 3rd September 2010 including confirmation of the presentation type and allocated session (for contributed talks).
The committee reserves the right to allocate abstracts into sessions as they see fit in accordance with the overall program objectives.
Presenting Authors will be asked to confirm their acceptance of the offered presentation and the name of the Presenting Author within two weeks of receiving the notification. The presenter is required to register for the Congress and forward the appropriate registration fee at the latest six weeks prior to the commencement of the Congress. The invitation to submit an abstract and/or present at the Congress does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Congress. Similarly, no presenter fee is paid to successful participants.
